PROBLEM

The medical industry lacks accessible, user-friendly platforms that connect patients with healthcare providers efficiently. Current systems are fragmented and difficult to navigate.

GOAL

Create a comprehensive medical management platform that makes healthcare more accessible to the public through intuitive design and seamless user experience.

IMPACT

Streamlined healthcare access, improved patient-provider communication, and better health outcomes through digital innovation.

Medisync is a platform that helps patients manage their medical records and appointments. We help patients to find the most suitable doctors. We also help doctors to manage their patients and provide better care.

FUNCTIONALITIES

How does Medisync work?

We designed three interconnected systems for this project: a patient-side mobile app, a wearable smart watch app, and a management system for providers.

Smart Watch

Medisync offers a Widget function, so users can link their smart watch with Medisync to monitor their dynamic health situation; when a heart rate alert is detected, medisync will alert the user while asking permission to send an alert to the doctor.

The Office System

Doctors can manage and view their patient's profile by our office system, the office system including but not limited of a dynamic health data visualization, patient's appointment data, medicine use, medical schedule and patient's medical document.

Patient App

The mobile app of medisync will letting uses make medical appointment aligns with their life, they can also track their feelings and medical history on the app, the medical profile will letting uses upload their insurance information to the office system, decreasing the redundant process when check-in the clinic.

TESTING & REFINEMENT

User Testing

We conducted user testing research after the low-fidelity prototypes finished; the research combined quantitative and qualitative research methods. Thanks to the 30 total participants who joined this research.
